Self impact test

KARMOR helmets verify its reliable safety by means of mechanical tests. We check out energy absorption of our products by dropping a crash test dummy from a 1.5m altitude. Furthermore, we carry out other safety tests under various circumstances.

Safety certification

All KARMOR helmets guarantee their stability with KC (Korea), JCF (Japan) and CE (Europe) certifications.

Safety certification items
  1. Visibility (except JCF) – Top view 25, bottom view 25
  2. Retention system
    - Measure the elasticity and position loss of a chinstrap in case of impact
  3. Measurement of material safety
  4. Impact absorption test
    - Free fall (1.5 m in height) in high and low temperature, artificial aging, and water immersion conditions
  5. Gravitational acceleration standards (CE: 250G, KC, JCF: 300G)
    * The less impact velocity and impact time are, the safer a helmet is.
